🟢 Anglofest: Celebrating Andalusia Day! ¡Celebrando el Día de Andalucía!

 This year, celebrating Andalusia Day was not just a one-day event, but a wonderful whole-school project where every single student played a vital role. We combined culture, language, and lots of creativity to learn more about our beautiful region in a dynamic, bilingual way.

Este año, la celebración del Día de Andalucía no fue un evento de un solo día, sino un maravilloso proyecto de todo el centro en el que cada alumno y alumna desempeñó un papel fundamental. Combinamos cultura, idiomas y mucha creatividad para aprender más sobre nuestra hermosa región de manera dinámica y bilingüe.

🎨 Painting our Roots: Early Childhood and Specific Classrooms

🎨 Pintando nuestras raíces: Infantil y Aulas Específicas

The magic started with our youngest artists. The Early Childhood Education classes and our Specific Classrooms took charge of the visual foundation of our project. They decorated the most iconic Andalusian symbols: the flag, the shield, the map, and the lyrics of our hymn. 

La magia empezó con nuestros artistas más jóvenes. Las aulas de Educación Infantil y nuestras Aulas Específicas se encargaron de la base visual de nuestro proyecto. Decoraron los símbolos andaluces más icónicos: la bandera, el escudo, el mapa y la letra de nuestro himno. 

🤝 Cooperative Challenges in Primary Education

🤝 Retos cooperativos en Educación Primaria

Meanwhile, our Primary Education students dove into a deeper linguistic and cultural challenge. Working in cooperative groups, each grade level researched and developed a specific topic in English. From traditions and gastronomy to history and nature, every classroom became an expert team, practising their English communication skills while learning about their heritage.

Mientras tanto, nuestro alumnado de Educación Primaria se sumergió en un reto lingüístico y cultural más profundo. Trabajando en grupos cooperativos, cada nivel investigó y desarrolló una temática específica en inglés. Desde las tradiciones y la gastronomía hasta la historia y la naturaleza, cada aula se convirtió en un equipo de expertos, practicando sus destrezas comunicativas en inglés mientras aprendían sobre su patrimonio.

🗺️ The Grand Finale: Our Giant Bilingual Map!

The best part of the project was seeing how everything came together. We took all the individual and group contributions and assembled them on our English Spot to complete a giant map of Andalusia.

La mejor parte del proyecto fue ver cómo todo cobraba sentido. Recogimos todas las aportaciones individuales y grupales y las unimos en nuestro tablón bilingüe (English Spot) para completar un mapa gigante de Andalucía.
